NOTE: I initially thought that the Thomas
Bigg who died on 25 Feb 1858 (Cert 70), was the Thomas who was the husband of Ann Catt. However, this was a problem in that Ann died in 1862 and yet her family bible gives no entry for Thomas's death. Also Ann's death is recorded there in the writing of a very old person. Other entries around that period have been included eg John (Ephraim)
Bigg died 15 December 1858. (MDB) This supports the theory that Thomas died after Ann (ie after 1862).
Now that the census record for 1861 has been found showing both Thomas and Ann living in Shoreditch, it is clear that Thomas did NOT die in 1858! He died in the last quarter of 1862 when living in Shoreditch. Later confirmed that Ann died in Shoreditch too.
